Bio
I am a self-taught creative. I grew up in New York City and its suburbs and later graduated from Smith College and New York Law School (not my idea). I worked at The Wall Street Journal as an editor and writer, and also taught Spanish conversation at The New School. A second marriage brought happiness and kids and a move to Massachusetts farm country. Once we had our fill of farmstand produce (and fear of ticks), we hiked it to Portugal for five years of language immersion and plenty of pastéis de nata. Our kids are now in college and I live in Paris, where I write short stories and novels, and also pitch literary agents in the US and the UK.
